Talking turbines at the Field Days

Talking turbines at the Field Days

Thank you to the more than 160 people who visited us at the 2025 Mudgee Small Farm Field Days on 11 and 12 July 2025. This was our fourth consecutive year at the event, and we valued the opportunity to speak with community members over two days about the Project.

Visitors were able to take home our Frequently Asked Questions brochure, fact sheet, and the two most recent newsletters. Many locals stopped by for an update on the Project’s progress, with many enquiring about potential work or supplier opportunities should the Project be approved.

We had a fantastic time running our “spin the wheel” activity, where both new and existing newsletter subscribers won prizes like stubby holders, coffee mugs and more! The kids loved our activity packs, pencils, playing cards – and, of course, the lollies.

We also had technical discussions on the mechanics of turbines, transmission lines, and grid connections, and there was strong interest in the Environmental Impact Statement process and the timeline we are working towards.

Community Benefit Survey

As many of you heard at our stall, we’re currently running a short survey to gather community input on how community benefit funding could be best allocated to benefit the local area.

If you have a moment, we’d really value your feedback. You can access the survey here.
