The Piambong Wind Farm team was pleased to welcome more than 200 visitors to our community information stall at the 2026 Mudgee Small Farm Field Days, continuing a strong tradition of local engagement.
Held on 10 and 11 July, this was the Project’s sixth consecutive appearance at the Field Days and its 12th community engagement stall across Mudgee and Gulgong. Over the two days, 211 people visited the stall to learn more about the proposed wind farm, renewable energy development in the region and opportunities for local involvement.
Visitors were keen to discuss Project progress, location, timelines, site access, transport routes, and local employment opportunities. Many used the interactive Project map and took home FAQ booklets to learn more about the development. Several local businesses and individuals also expressed interest in future employment, contracting, and supply opportunities associated with the Project.
Many visitors expressed their support for Piambong Wind Farm and renewable energy more broadly. Community sponsorship opportunities and benefits were also a popular topic of conversation, with visitors seeking information about future funding opportunities and community programs.
The Piambong Wind Farm team thanks everyone who visited the stall and looks forward to continuing conversations with the community as the Project progresses.
