We would like to update you on the progress of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Piambong Wind Farm.
The Project is progressing through the NSW planning system, and we are preparing the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). As part of this process, we are continuing to undertake the technical, environmental and specialist studies required to thoroughly assess the Project and its potential impacts.
As Project investigations continue, we are refining the wind farm design. We had originally expected to have the Project layout finalised by this stage. However, a number of important agreements and related Project arrangements have only recently been completed. As these agreements help guide the location and design of project infrastructure, we are spending additional time refining the layout to reflect these outcomes. We expect to be able to share an updated turbine layout in late 2026.
To ensure all necessary studies provide robust information for assessment, the EIS is now expected to be submitted in 2027.
Engaging with our neighbours and local communities remains an important part of the Project’s development. We are committed to keeping you informed as the Project progresses and providing opportunities for meaningful engagement throughout the planning and assessment process.
