Thanks for visiting!

Thanks to everyone who visited us at our recent drop-in sessions in Gulgong and Mudgee. These events were our fourth drop-in session in Gulgong and the fifth for Mudgee.

It was great being out in the community after receiving our Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) and moving on to the Project’s next phase. Around 30 local residents came past our stands outside Gulgong IGA and Mudgee Newsagency in May to discuss the Project and provide feedback to the team. We discussed biodiversity, the workforce, economic opportunities, and cumulative impacts during our visit.

What does this next phase look like?

We received our SEARs in December 2023. Over the next two years, Piambong will conduct investigations, studies, surveys and community engagement to inform the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). Throughout this phase of the Project, we will continue to hold regular community engagement sessions.

We will be at the Mudgee Small Farm Field Days in July, so please come and say hello. We will be at stall C19 (same spot as last year).
