To be eligible for community grants and sponsorships, applicants must:

• be located within, or provide a direct benefit to the community in the Mid-Western Regional Local Government Area (LGA)
• operate as a not-for-profit organisation
• agree to the  terms and conditions in this information pack.

For community grants

• Be linked to a specific outgoing expense for the organisation
• Be linked to one of the following areas:
  1. Education
  2. Economic growth – skills and entrepreneurship
  3. Access to affordable and clean energy
  4. Community life
  5. Relief programs and emergency response
• Positively contribute to the local community's social wellbeing

For community sponsorships

• Create long-term value for Piambong Wind Farm based on the continued relationship with the sponsored party
• Bring positive exposure to the Vestas and Piambong Wind Farm brands
• Improve Piambong Wind Farm’s ability to reach a local audience to further build relationships
• Provide an opportunity for positive media coverage and exposure through branding and advertising on communications materials

   • The application must meet one or more of the merit criteria outlined above. 
3. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for processing.
4. If your application is approved, we will contact your representative to discuss next steps.
5. Please send us photos of the initiative/event for our publicity purposes, as per the terms and conditions.

The following terms and conditions apply to applications made under the Piambong Wind Farm Community Grants and Sponsorship Program (CGSP).

• Piambong Wind Farm Pty Ltd reserves the right to select:
  • successful grant/sponsorship applicants
  • the amount of the grant/sponsorship allocation
  • the method of payment and timing of payment to successful grant/sponsorship applicants.
• The decision to allocate a grant or sponsorship to successful applicants is final and Piambong Wind Farm Pty Ltd is not required to provide reasons to unsuccessful applicants.
• Any funding allocation from the Piambong Wind Farm CGSP must be solely used for the purpose stated in the application. Piambong Wind Farm Pty Ltd reserves the right to withdraw and request repayment of the funding allocation if the money is not used for the purpose outlined in the application.
• The recipient must:
  • publicly recognise PWF's support in the manner agreed in writing. Recognition may include:
    • displaying the PWF logo at the event and/or in collateral
    • recognising PWF support on a website or social media channel
    • supplying PWF with photos of the project/event.
• Piambong Wind Farm Pty Ltd reserves the right to include details of the grant/sponsorship in its media, newsletters, and website materials.
• The recipient agrees to provide photos of the initiative/event for which it is requesting funding and understands that these photos may be used on the Piambong Wind Farm website and other collateral, including publicly available reports.
• The recipient will provide Piambong Wind Farm Pty Ltd with a completion report, summarising all relevant information about the supported activity.
